The National Champion Lady Knight softball team took their 33-0 record into Richard Childress Racing on Wednesday afternoon for a photo shoot with the driver of the #33 BB&T Chevrolet Impala, Clint Bowyer. The team and coaches all gathered around the car with Clint and posed for pictures. Bowyer chatted with the girls about softball as he signed autographs and congratulated the girls on their perfect 33-0 season. He then took the team on a tour of the race shop, explaining some of the “behind the scenes” activities that make it possible to race on weekends.
There was also a TV crew from SPEED TV filming a clip for tonight’s NASCAR Race Hub program that will air at 7:00 pm on SPEED. Tune in to see your Lady Knights on national TV!
The Lady Knights will also be the guest of BB&T at next Wednesday’s Winston-Salem Dash baseball game, August 4 at BB&T Park in Winston-Salem. The game is scheduled to start at 7:00 pm as the Dash will host the Wilmington ( DE ) Blue Rocks. We will have more information on the tickets for the baseball game in the near future.
