Damane Duckett returned Tuesday night as his #99 Jersey was retired during the half-time of the boy’s varsity game. Duckett who graduated from North Davidson in 1999 went on to play at East Carolina and was later drafted by the Carolina Panthers. During his time in the NFL Duckett has played for the 49ers, Giants and last year competed for a spot in the New England Patriots roster.
Damane has been picked up by the British Columbia Lions and will play the 2010 season in the Canadian Football League.
